Great To Meet You, I’m Cody

A proud Guelph resident, having moved here in my teens to pursue a career with the Guelph Storm, I’m originally from the small Northern Ontario community of Iroquois Falls, but fell in love with this city, and stayed ever since; building a career, family, and future here.

After my time with Guelph Storm, I studied economics and finance at the University of Guelph. It was then, in 2012, that I started working a summer job at Coldwell Banker with the DiLoreto and Long team.

Breaking Into Real Estate

As a finance student, real estate was never on my radar but I ended up thriving in the fast paced environment at the brokerage, enjoying working with people everyday, and felt a true sense of pride that went into the work as it was a direct reflection of my effort, and had a real impact on people’s lives.

I approach every deal with an individual lens, as no two people’s circumstances are exactly alike. Depending on your situation it may not always be the best time to buy or sell, sometimes doing nothing is the right advice. I believe in developing the relationship over any single transaction.

With over a decade of real estate experience, 1,000+ sales (both preconstruction and resale) and the tutelage of some great mentors over the years I’m proud of the service and expertise I can offer my clients. I pride myself on having integrity and providing sound, honest advice that buyers and sellers trust during their most important milestones.

While I work one-on-one with every client, I’m supported by an extended team of industry experts so I’m always available and able to focus entirely on serving my clients, helping them navigate the market and the process, and building relationships.

After first moving to Guelph 20 years ago, it wasn’t long before Iroquois Falls was my hometown, and Guelph was home (sorry mom). I met my wife here. My daughter was born here. Almost my entire wedding party had ties to Guelph. The sense of community, the people, and opportunities made the decision setting my roots here an easy one. Now I help other families do the same thing on a daily basis.
